Birds, Bees, and Circles

I've admired the fabric circles I've seen hanging on walls all over blogland for some time. I even stockpiled embroidery hoops found at thrift shops and today I actually got around to hanging some.

 

I love the look of these and what a clever way to display your favorite prints. It completes my little sewing nook and inspires me to see them on the wall.

 

I got this little piece of fabric in a swap I participated in last year. I love it and it was really too small to do much with. This was the perfect solution.

those daffodils are such a tease

 

They pop up when winter breaks and the sun warms the ground. Looking out at the tiny spots of yellow dotting the yard arouses my hibernating spirit. I begin plotting, planning, and writing my spring cleaning to-do list.

   

I know winter is not finished - she always leaves a farewell frost in early April - but I just can't help myself.

 

When I look at those daffodils my soul smiles, my spirit lifts, and I let them tease me with thoughts and promises of the spring to come.
