I can hardly believe that I've made it to my 100th post. It took a bit longer than most bloggers I'm sure, almost two years, but here I am at last. I plan to do a little give away to celebrate but first I must make something to give away. I already have something in mind and, if the moons align, I will have it ready by the end of the week.
Time has quickly slipped through my fingers these past few weeks. I have another wall pocket to make for someone and I've been working feverishly to finish a baby gift before Saturday. People say that time goes by faster the older you get. So far that's been true for me, however, I believe it has nothing at all to do with age and everything to do with the length of my to-do list. The busier I am, the shorter the days seem. I'm not meaning to complain though. Everything on that to-do list revolves around the people I love and care about. I really wouldn't have it any other way.
Anyway, until I have some crafty projects to share, I wanted to share some items around my home: doilies. They seem to be popping up every where.
This one was given to me by a lady in Australia via a swap we did through Swap Bot.
And this one was given to my Mom who later gave it to me. I'm not sure who made it but it reminded me of a crocheted rug I saw on Craftzine's blog (I can't seem to find the link for that now).
