With my home finally put back together, I am feeling a bit more productive. I'm done with home improvement projects for now--all though, with the floors all nice and new, the walls sure do look like they need a new coat of paint.
I finished those last two Imke shirts for the girls, this time in fleece from my local Hancock fabric store.
This time I kept things super simple. No hood or appliques -- just an easy fleece pullover.
It seems as though I completed these just in time. The temperatures here have stayed in the 50's and are still dropping. That means it's time for jackets, layers and -- of course -- fuzzy boots.
And with these shirts done, I can wrap up October's Craft Book of the Month -- Sewing Clothes Kids Love. This was a great book to work from. Every design came with many, many options and the directions were clear and easy to follow. I know I will be sewing more from this book in the future.
