My week of being snowed in - and getting a little cabin fever - really turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I finished some old and new projects during this time. And even though it wasn't all peachy, I did spend good quallity time with my family.
My crochet flower picture (from Jacquie's tutorial) is finished and hanging.
It turned out so very sweet. In fact, it's so sweet that I plan on re-hanging it in my daughters' room where it will have a pretty pink wall to adorn.
I also crocheted some basket liners. I love baskets and have many of them around the house. I like to store my crochet works-in-progress in them but sometimes the yarn gets snagged on the ends of the wicker. These liners are thick and solve my snagg-y problem. And they are pretty to look at too.
The green one was really very easy to do - much like crocheting a hat - but the white one took more trial and error. It was a lot of increasing and decreasing to get it to fit just right. And just for ya'll - my crochet buddies - I plan to post my pattern for the green liner in the next day or so. I hope you guys like it.
I wasn't the only one busy creating while the snow and ice piled up - our hens finally layed eggs, yay!
