Just wanted to pop in and share some pics with you.

I picked up this cute fabric at my local Hancocks. Wouldn't it make darling little girl aprons. Thats my plan for it so far.

I love it.

One small project complete

I did manage to squeeze in one small project this weekend: a clean desk and a covered cork board. I think the red and aqua color combo may be on its way out but I still love it.

No time for fun

I don’t have much to blog about this week unless you find housework and school assignments interesting, no, I didn’t think so. I have managed to squeeze in some time to beef up my little blog, but people don’t visit for the sidebars alone. So here are a few projects in the works…

The beginning of my first crocheted blanket. Thanks to my friend Jennifer ;) I learned how to do the double chain stitch. Once I got the hang of it I couldn’t stop and what was meant to be a scarf is on its way to becoming a blanket.

And this is one going to be the top of my first quilt. I'm using charm squares again (I love those little guys) from Moda's Chocalot line. Not much further to go on this one.

New addition

After much debate, my husband and I finally decided to let the kids have a pet that does not require a cage. My mother-in-law's cat had a litter of kittens on Christmas day so she picked her favorite to give to us. We duely named him Comet and we have all come to love him.

He's about as sweet as they come and very playful. My girls love him a little too much and I have to remind them that he can't be squeezed too hard.

He's a tough little guy though which it great because I have some rough little kids.

Springing up

Although its only February, spring is appearing.

Yellow has also been appearing.
