Look at what was waiting for me in the mail today.
I'm a very happy girl. All of this came from my Swap-bot swap partner, Karen. Thank you again Karen. She made the Clothespin cutie from a favorite blogger of mine's kit and the pin cushion was made from her Oma's fabric. This is the reason I love swaps. I love sending presents and I love recieving them.
Tonight I'm sorting my ever growing fabric stash.
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mine was not so great. We had a death in the family. While it was very heartbreaking, I did reconnect with some family members that I have been too distant from for too long. I also was reminded to appreciate and love my own family a little more each and every day.
I enjoyed my first swap so much that I ran out to Swap-bot and signed up for five more swaps. The first is "Favorite colors" were our partner sends us two items in our favorite colors. Here's one item that I'm sending my partner.

Lately I've been inspired by Orange Flowers macros challange. I didn't even know what macros was until I stumbled upon this blog. Now I can's stop using this mode to take pictures. Here are few random pics I've taken.
My intrest in photography has definately been sparked. I never planned for this to be a photo blog but since I'm not a very wordy person and I certainly am not a writer, I might start posting more photos. Pictures are my favorite part of blogs. I guess its that inner voyerism thing, like looking into open windows while driving at night, getting a peek into some else's life and seeing how we all live our lives differently but the same.
