I finally did it

I made something for myself to wear.

I used Butterick B5217for this top. I love the fabric. Its a plaid linen I found in remnants bin at Hancock's ( I love anything plaid, I'm such a nerd). The only hitch is that I totally look pregnant when I wear it, therefore, I would only wear it in public if I was pregnant, which I am not (take a breath Mom). Huge bummer, the fabric is so cool and airy and the weather here is so very hot. I am mentally patting myself on the back though because I was able to follow a pattern and it was my first time doing pleats.
