What a great idea --- I even have the same fabric (did you get it at Wal-Mart as part of a fat quarter pack?). And of course, I have lots of pinecones. Thanks for sharing.

I love this post. As the stress of holiday crafting is beginning to creep up, I need to remember to allow myself to enjoy the process, and keep it simple.

I love the pine cone cluster, and I think that will be a project for the front door

Your welcome. The fabric came in a fat quarter pack from Hancocks. Don't you just love plaid in the fall!

Your house is so beautiful! That's a great idea to pile up pine cones in the planters. After the mums die mine just sit there looking lonely. I need to reread this months Country Living 'cause I missed the pine cone cluster. Unfortunately I don't have any trees around that give me pine cones. I guess I'll need to do a nature walk.

Oh! Pinecones! I remember those! They are a rare treat here in Brooklyn. I love what you did with them. So simple and pretty!

This is great! I think I will make this for my home at the beach...I collected a bunch of pinecone in Mammoth, CA. Thanks. One of my readers told me to come here.
