**I'm so happy that so many have been enjoying my Chain Tree tutorial! I truly appreciate every comment I've recieved. Thanks bunches to everyone who's been stopping by.**
I seem to be 'hooked' on short but sweet crochet projects like this crocheted pennant.
The flower triangle pattern can be found in my all-time favorite crochet book Crochet Adorned. Oh how I wish I had a little one so I could justify buying Linda's newest book Little Crochet (the booties on the cover so darling).
The red and green yarn came from my stash. I believe they are both a wool and acrylic blend. The cream colored yarn is Stitch Nation by Debbie Stroller. This was my first time purchasing and using this yarn and I love it. It's 100% Peruvian wool -- I bet it would felt up beautifully -- and I can get it at my local Michael's. (sorry, I didn't mean to turn this post into an advertisement but I really love this yarn!).
I'm really loving how the pennant turned out. I think I must make one to hang year-round...after the holidays, of course. Hope everyone is having a lovely, low stress, joy-full holiday week!
Beautiful pennant....I wouldn't take it down after the holidays. It looks fabulous. And I love that yarn as well. It is wonderful to feel in your hands, isn't it?
Have a wonderful holiday with your kids. I, too, wish my kids were little so I could make all those fun kids' things that are all over the internet these days. Oh well. Maybe grandkids in about 15 years!
