It's been too long since I last joined in Ginny's Yarn Along. Spring is coming and, for us, that means planning this year's garden and contemplating new homestead projects. I'd really like to scale down our garden this year--having a new baby and all--but the hubby (already burning up with spring fever) wants to go bigger. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up with the demands of a large garden once summertime rolls around. I know we'll plant more fruit trees and build a raised bed for strawberries and maybe get some baby chicks. Those projects plus our usual vegetable garden--tomatoes, squash,cucumbers,ect.--is about all I'm willing to take on for now. We'll see. In expectation of all the upcoming outdoor work, I made myself a Moby Wrap (using this tutorial) so the baby can join in the fun.
It's really has come in handy too, especially around suppertime when Molly is wide awake and doesn't want sit in her bouncy seat.
I finally picked up my copy of Little Crochet that has been on hold at the library for, oh, about two months. I loved it right away and quickly bought my own copy. I seriously want to make everything in this book! I've already finished the sweetest bonnet (I'll save that for another post) and now I'm working on the Soft Owl Pillow. My girls are eager for me to finish it and they constantly ask what row I'm on. Looks like I'll be making more than one.
