This week's Yarn Along comes from my bedside table. These days I'm feeling like my major hobbies are doing the dishes and laundry because those are the things I do in my spare time. The only time I'm finding for reading or crocheting is late at night after everyone else is in bed. Thank goodness the baby sleeps a good six hours at night! (Sorry for the whining but without a creative outlet I start to go a bit crazy and need to vent to someone other my husband.)
I've been flipping through my favorite craft books trying to get inspired and geared up for next week's Kids Clothing Week Challenge. I think I can pull off an hour a day of sewing for 7 days. Sign-ups are still open if anyone is intrested in joining along. This will be my 3rd time participating and it's so much fun. I have a list of things to make, mostly simple garments that shouldn't take too much time to put together, and things to mend.
I started crocheting the Eco Bunny Blanket from LionBrand's website. Little Molly has learned the classic baby move 'grab and take to mouth' and I thought this blanket would be perfect for her. I'm using Sugar'n Cream 100% cotton yarn in Ecru. So far the head is completed and I'll hopefully be finished in a few more nights.
